Join us for our fireside chat with Damion Braithwaite - CEO founder of WNIC.

本次的炉边谈话我们请到了WNIC的首席执行官和创始人Damion Braithwaite.

​ Damion is the Founder and CEO of What's New in Changsha (WNIC), Hunan's biggest and most popular independent English language information and events service. WNIC brings together foreigners and Chinese for cultural and educational cooperation as well as provides an advertising platform for local businesses. Some key events organised by his team have included international culture concerts, an annual European style Christmas Market and art-based exhibitions. WNIC is also often found helping local charities.

 Damion is also starting several new projects which connect to the principle idea of WNIC. A new, stylish corporate events company, food critic events at city restaurants and a China adventure travel company. Additionally, Damion owns a British style bar in Changsha, is the Foreign Teacher Leader at the famous Yali High School and is the Changsha Consular representative for the British embassy based in Guangzhou. Damion was also a qualified IELTS examiner, has a family and is constantly supporting and promoting many smaller international interest groups. He is keen to make connections with anyone that shares the same vision and passion to improve the international perspective of Changsha and China to the whole world.

Damion是长沙WNIC的创始人兼首席执行官。WNIC是湖南最大、最受欢迎的独立英文信息和活动发布平台。WNIC将外国人和中国人聚在一起，实现了文化和教育方面的沟通与合作，并为当地企业提供广告服务。他的团队组织策划的重大活动包括：国际文化音乐会、一年一度的欧式圣诞集市活动和艺术展览。WNIC也经常帮助当地的慈善机构开展各类活动。Damion还启动了几个新的项目，这些项目与WNIC的基本思路一致。一家全新而时尚的活动策划公司，城市餐厅的美食评论家活动和一家中国探险旅游公司。
